So, you want to have a fundraiser to support animal rescue and relief? The pets (and people!) at PARL are happy to help you out with some fun ideas, and a few tips and tricks to ensure that your event is a howlin’ good time!

Party for PARL!

Having a house party is a great way to entertain your friends and family while raising money for the animals at PARL. Check out our House Party Guide and see how fun and easy it is to “Party for the Pups!”

Puppy Potluck!

Invite your friends over and ask each of them to bring a covered dish for people, and cans of food for PARL’s animals.

Knittin’ for Kittens

Are you in a knitting group? Ask your fellow knitters to bring along some powder kitten-milk-replacement, or cases of Yesterday’s News® cat litter.

Pints for Paws

Talk to the owner of your favorite bar about picking an event date and donating a percentage of drink sales to PARL on that day. For even more furry fundraising fun, make the event dog-friendly!

Dog Park Donation Drive

Hand out PARL’s Shelter Wishlist to the people at your neighborhood dog park and schedule a date to visit the park to pick up everybody’s donations.

Sales for the Shelter

Group yard sales are a great way to clean house and help provide care for the animals at PARL. After your next spring cleaning, get together with your friends and hold a yard sale, donating a portion of your proceeds to PARL.
