PARL is voted the BEST RI Non-Profit!

The polls have closed and PARL has won “Best Local Cause or Non-Profit” in The Phoenix Yearly Best Of 2010! PARL was one of five local non-profit organization nominees and thanks to all of our supporters who voted for us we can now proudly boast that we are the BEST in Rhode Island! This honor is especially sweet since it comes from the people of our community that we serve. We will continue to do our best to provide excellent service to our community and compassionate care to the thousands of animals we receive yearly. Locals "Got Their Woof On" at Nick-A-Nees!

What a day (and night) we had at the "Get Your Woof On at Nick-A-Nees" event on Saturday June 25th! It was an event-full of animal-loving supporters, great local music and yummy food and drink flowing all night! We want to give special thanks to Rusty (owner of Nicks) and Jennifer Turner (PARL Board Member) for coordinating such a successful fundraiser for PARL. Over $3500 was raised for the animals!

Charity Navigator is America's premier independent charity evaluator. Charity Navigator awarded the Providence Animal Rescue League (PARL) four out of a possible four stars.
