We're so grateful for everyone who came out to the event! We have so many people to thank including our gracious host, judges, competing restaurants, volunteers, sponsors and our guests. You “came to the rescue” and helped PARL raise over $40,000.00 helping us to continue our mission! This amazing fundraiser was made possible by YOU, our attendees, sponsors, participant’s volunteers and staff!

Who's Top Dog?...

We're proud to announce that Ten Steak & Sushi took first place and are now the "Top Dog" culinary establishment for the year! Poco Loco won the hearts of the guests and took first place as the "Howlin' Crowd Pleaser". Check out these links to see some great photos from the night!

VIP Reception!

Hosted by Millonzi's Fine Catering Bottles Fine Wine, and Revival Brewing Co. the VIP Reception boasted a bourbon tasting by Bottles with six different bourbons. Nara Restaurant provided an incredible Lebanese spread for our VIP guests, along with Matunuck Oyster Bar amazing raw bar!

    Each competitor was judged on their dish by a local celebrity judge for their chance to win the title of Top Dog, but YOU voted to give someone the title of Howlin’ Crowd Pleaser!     Al Matthews

    Since 1990, Southern New England has woken up with Al, the foodie half of the successful Paul & Al radio show at rock station 94HJY in Providence. Organic gardener, home cook, hungry and thirsty traveler, father, and Iron Chef stalker, Al's off-air life is all about food for family and friends, from curing and smoking his own bacon to making his own honey liqueur. Al is one of our judges for this event, and you can bet he’ll be going back for seconds!

    Logan Ryan

    In his rookie season with the New England Patriots, Cornerback Logan Ryan made an impact, leading the AFC and all rookies in interceptions. With a big appetite off the field, he spends his free time in the kitchen or local restaurants, appreciating the art of comfort food. The bigger, the better! As a “Chopped” fanatic, Logan looks forward to spending an evening as on our culinary competition judges!

    Brendan Kirby

    The latest addition to The Rhode Show team, Brendan joined the show as its new co-host in January after winning WPRI-TV’s 2013 “Search For A Star” competition. Prior to this, he hosted his own late night comedy/talk show, Wicked Late with Brendan Kirby. He is a former intern for CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman and a graduate of Rhode Island College. Brendan can’t wait to judge this competition and looks forward to challenging Logan Ryan to an arm wrestling match at some point during the evening.
