In collaboration with Bigger Beast Records, nine regional singer-songwriters will spend a day at PARL getting to know one shelter animal. Over the next few weeks, they will write and record an original song inspired by that animal.
The project concludes with an outdoor music festival featuring the nine artists and a nationally-known headliner (to be announced in early 2025). Songs will be released on Spotify and performed at the festival (date/location TBA).

The 2025 event will be family-friendly, to include all the fun offerings of a Halloween party with some fun surprises and activities for kids and adults alike! More details will be forthcoming in early 2025.

PARL’s Preventative Vet Care Clinics support pet health and community health. With private vets focused on sick-care and many families facing barriers to care, PARL provides accessible, low-cost services like vaccinations, microchipping, and nail trimming.
Many of these clinics also include distribution of free pet food and pet supplies through our Pet Food Pantry program. These critical services can often be the safety net that keeps pets out of shelters and with their families where they belong.
In 2025, PARL will host at least three large clinics (400+ animals each) and 20 smaller clinics (50-200 animals each), primarily at pop-up locations across Rhode Island.
From intake exams to vet care, housing, and adoption promotion, each animal’s adoption fees only cover a small fraction of the costs associated with their care. Support for the adoption program is critical and demonstrates a commitment to animal welfare. Not only that, but your sponsorship encourages pet adoption and will link up networks and mutual clients to help more animals find loving homes in 2025.
